The Library is contracting Canterbury Educational Printing Services at UC to digitise the thesis collection. The plan is to scan 1500 PhD and Masters theses before Christmas and then complete loading files and descriptions to the LU Research Archive during 2010.
From November 2009 to January 2010 some theses may only be available for consulting from the Library archive collection or from Departmental collections. However, many theses do have duplicate copies available in the lending collection.
From February 2010 we may be able to provide print or digital copies where theses are urgently required for research, teaching or assignment use.
Departmental thesis collections are also available for staff and student use. Contact your Departmental Secretary or Supervisor.
