Interloans

About Interloans

Interloans is the cooperative scheme by which libraries make available books and articles to requestors from other libraries.

Staff and postgraduates1 can request items essential to their research work, but not held by Lincoln University Library, to be obtained for them from other libraries. The conditions of lending are imposed by the lending library in each case.

Charges
From within New Zealand  From Overseas
Standard ("Normal" priority)  $4.00                        $20.00
Urgent priority2  $20.00  $20.00
+ any additional charges for urgent overseas interloans

1 Interloans may also be made available to undergraduates students, on the written recommendation of a member of the academic staff in each instance.
2 Normal delivery is usually within a week, so the extra cost of an urgent request is generally unnecessary. Check with Interloan staff if unsure.
